Additional Support for Schools

Most children with additional support needs attend their local school and follow a curriculum which is adapted to their needs. In the primary school the key person is the class teacher, supported by the pupil support co-ordinator, normally the headteacher. Additional support for learning is supplied by the Support for Learning Area Network Team (SLANT).
