Stirling Bus Station

Stirling bus station is operated by Stirling Council.
We work with bus operators to provide public transport in the Stirling Council area.

The bus station is situated beneath the Thistles Marches Shopping Centre and gives instant access to the shopping mall.  

The bus station is manned by Stirling Councils' supervisors, facilities include:

  • ticket sales office
  • printed timetables
  • internet based journey planner
  • computerised departure screens
  • heated waiting area
  • cafe
  • newsagent's kiosk
  • photo booth
  • toilets
    -  baby changing facilities
    -  disabled facilities (ask at ticket sales for radar key)
  • left luggage lockers
  • close circuit television

Included are

  • Braille signs
  • automatic doors
  • a number of induction loops and tactile surfaces.

Shopmobility and Public Transport Co-ordination are located within the bus station.  

The bus station provides free paper copies of all timetables of services that operate within the Stirling and Clackmannnanshire Council areas.  

First' passes may be purchased at the bus station (e.g. zonal cards).  

Journeys on National Express and Scottish Citylink may be booked: on-line; by visiting the bus station; by telephoning the bus station on 01786 446474 and using your credit card to book in advance
