Under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, before carrying out any works on a public road it is essential that you obtain the relevant permission

You can download the following permits

Skip Permit
This is an application for permission to deposit a builders Skip on a Road

Minor Roadworks Consent
This is an application to construct accesses, vehicular crossings etc., or make an opening in any public road

Vehicle Footway Crossing
Please refer to Minor Roadworks Consent form as above

Road Occupation Permit
This is an application to deposit building materials on and/ or erect staging or scaffolding on or over part of any road

Temporary Traffic Light Signals
This is an application for the use of portable light signals

Street Café
This is an application to Occupy the public footway in connection with siting and Operation of a street café

Road construction Consent
This is an application for construction Consent for a new road or Extension to an existing road.
