Public Transport
Travelling to Stirling by public transport has never been easier.
Stirling is located in the very heart of Scotland with fast and reliable rail and coach services from Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond. These are complimented with a comprehensive local bus service network, to meet the needs of residents, visitors and business.
If it is necessary to use your car and you wish to avoid City Centre parking, why not make use of our excellent Park and Ride services. Stirling Council offers two Park and Ride bus services that run to Stirling City Centre every 12 minutes, using ‘easy access’ vehicles suited to senior citizens, shoppers, families and people with mobility problems.
Visit our Park and Ride page for more information.
Working with bus operators ensures people receive good information about services, throughout their journeys. This includes publishing timetables, roadside bus stop information, information on the internet and the National Traveline telephone enquiry service.
You can pick up paper copies of all Stirling and Clackmannanshire area timetables from Stirling Bus Station or print a timetable from Traveline.
