Trossachs Trundler (June - October)

The Trossachs Trundler provides a summer service to the Trossachs and links the highland gateway resorts of Callander and Aberfoyle.

The bus stops at

  • Loch Venachar, which is one of Scotland's finest sailing clubs
  • Brig o’Turk, from where you can explore the Woodland Trust’s Glen Finglas Estate.
  • Loch Katrine pier, where there are frequent sailings of the ‘Sir Walter Scott’, 'Ellen's Isle' and 'Lady of the Lake'
  • the climb over the spectacular Duke’s Pass calling at the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park Visitor Centre before descending into Aberfoyle.

You can use the Trossachs Trundler to view the romantic scenery or to get to the start of many lovely walks and trails in the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.  The trundler stops on request so you can get on or off at any point along the route.  The trundler follows part of the Trossachs Trail, a green tourism project which promotes tourism and a respect for the Trossachs environment.
