Special cleaning teams take swift action to prevent the build up of graffiti. Squads have the latest high tech equipment to deal with the problem. Any racist, sectarian or obscene graffiti is prioritised and removed as quickly as possible.
In certain circumstances, our teams will remove graffiti from private property but the owner must sign a disclaimer in advance as we cannot be held responsible for any damage to walls caused by high pressure sprays or cleaning agents.
A StreetScape Officer will assess the work involved and determine if a charge is applicable.
To report graffiti - call 0845 277 7000.

Stirling Council`s residents have made it clear that they want to put a stop to litter, with litter featuring as a prime concern of the Citizen's Panel.
Our special hit squads of litter pickers & street sweepers operate seven days a week, targeting town centres, neighbourhood centres and main thoroughfares.
The hard work on the ground is backed up by many education and litter campaigns - aimed at winning hearts and minds in the battle against litter. We also carry out enforcement, issuing £50 fixed penalties to ensure the message is clear that dropping litter is against the law, carries a fine and it won`t be tolerated.
Litter removal can be dependant on whether the Council own or maintain the area. To report litter, please call 0845 277 7000, or complete the on line service request screen, via the internet front page, giving as many details as you can.
If you use syringes, your pharmacist or surgery will be able to provide a special container for sharps so you can dispose of them safely and there are needle exchange facilities at a number of chemists.
If you find a syringe lying in a public area, please don't touch it - let us know immediately.
Please contact 0845 277 7000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Service level agreement is to remove a discarded syringe from a public area within 4 hours.
It costs the tax payer £11 million a year to clear up rubbish left around the countryside by fly-tippers - 73% of which is dumped by householders.
This behaviour is entirely unnecessary. Stirling Council provides three civic amenity sites where householders can take unwanted goods free of charge and we will collect bulky items for disposal from people's homes, at a small charge. As an added bonus, a high proportion of the material left at civic amenity sites is now recycled. For more information on this, or if you witness any fly-tipping please call the 0845 277 7000, or your local Police. Alternatively, you can call the National Campaign against the Dumb Dumpers on: 08452 304090.
Stirling Council has four civic amenity sites, Lower Polmaise (A905 Fallin), Balfron (Dunkeld Court), Callander (Lagrannoch Depot) and Killin (Car Park, Old Station).
