Waste awareness, or lack of it, is a major issue to be tackled if we are to successfully reach the required recycling targets. Nationally, Waste Aware Scotland provides research-backed guidance on what works and what doesn’t when tackling waste awareness issues.

For adults and young people outside of school, Stirling Council is looking for individuals who would like to volunteer to get involved with developing workshops, competitions, displays, composter sales, litter picks and other activities for

  • Youth clubs or organisations
  • Communities and neighbourhoods
  • All householders
