Schools and Youth clubs

Stirling Council has been actively working with primary and secondary schools throughout the area for 10 years.  The results of this hard work can now be seen in the number of schools with home composters and recycling collection schemes.

Waste Services can offer various activities for schools. A Waste Education Officer is in post and can come out to deliver the various parts of the programme. Waste, waste minimisation and recycling are not only part of Eco Schools, but are also part of the science experiences and outcomes within Curriculum for Excellence
