National Park

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is the natural gateway to the Highlands.

It includes Loch Eck and the Argyll Forst on the Cowal Peninsula to the west, the communities of Tyndrum, Crianlarich and Killin in the north, St Fillans, Callander, Port of Menteith and Dalmary to the east and Drymen and Balloch to the south.

A National Park Authority oversees management of the new Park.

A first for Scotland, it will protect for future generations some of the country’s finest scenery, and offer all kinds of leisure and recreation activities.
