Community Planning Partnership
Community
By working closely with the business community and key organisations, a broad range of measures will be introduced to develop and promote city centre safety and reduce the cost of business crime.
Planning
Through the process of effective consultation with a wide variety of groups and individuals, a clear focus and context for implementing practical improvements will be established, based on a factual understanding of local needs.
Partnerships
Collaboration will be the foundation on which the initiative will be built. By effectively communicating and working with Stirling's Community Safety Partnership and key stakeholders we will help create a safer city centre.
''The Scottish Government is determined to make our city centres safer places in which to live, work, shop and relax, and the Scottish Safer Cities Initiative will go a long way in helping us to achieve this'
Jim Wallace, Deputy First Minister
