Childminders
My mum's interested in becoming a childminder. What should she do?

What are the current rates that childminders charge?
It varies depending on the individual childminder and the age of the child involved. Generally from £2.50 - £3.75 per hour. Normally it's an agreement between the parent and the childminder.
Are all childminders registered and/or vetted?
Yes. All childminders on Stirling Council's lists have been completely vetted. They are only issued with registration certificates once all checks have been successfully completed.
