Book Review Title:-Totally Lucy Makeover Magic Author: Kelly McKain
This is what the Book is about:-
Lucy writes in her journal about what is happening in her life. Some things her best friend Jules knows as well but somethings only she knows. Matilda-Jane is a new girl and because Lucy wants to be a fashion designer, she is her 1st makeover. MJ is very simple and she is very restricted and shy. There is a disco coming up so she gives MJ a makeover. She even gives her a cool nickname. Tilda. Many things happen at the disco. Some things are good that happened but some...... Read to find out. This is what the Book is about:-
These books are about a young boy who attends a school called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, yes he is a wizard, who has a very sad past, a dark wizard of the name Voldemort killed Harry's parents and tried to kill Harry but did not succeed, that is why everyone knows his name. he is the boy who lived! Now Voldemort is hunting Harry down in every way imaginable, Harry has many adventures trying to survive Voldemorts terrible deeds. What Voldemort does not know is that Harry has a very powerful power, the power of love. Join Harry in these amazing books!!! This is what I thought of the book:-They are all truly great!! I have read all of them 1-6 and have enjoyed them all, they all include adventure, suspense and horror. J K Rowling is a spectacular writer who has a extraordinary imagination. She has done very well with these books! Brilliant.

This is what the Book is about:-
Three animals, a pelly , a giraffe and a monkey. They are a window cleaning company. The Pelly carries water, the giraffe is a ladder and the monkey washes the windows. One day the Mayor asks them to come to his house and clean his windows. This is what I thought of the book:-It was brilliant and funny, Brilliant!

Girls who all have different dads and the mum is moving out of their house and into a new home and a new man and she is having a baby and all the girls are excited apart from one girl that's not and she wants to stay but she can't and her and her mum start having a row. This is what the Book is about:-
Written by an award-winning author, Jacqueline Wilson, the novel, Best Friends, has been a favourite for many kids throughout the world. The book, Best Friends, is mainly about two girls who have been best friends ever since they were born, on the same day, and in the same hospital. They went to the same nursery school, same infant school, and now they are together in the juniors. Even though they have their ups and downs, and even if Gemma’s the noisy and wild one, while Alice is the shy and sensible one, they can always trust each other with their secrets. But one day, Alice’s parents decides to move the family to Scotland, far away from where Gemma lives. Gemma is utterly distraught, particularly at the thought that Alice might find a new best friend there. Best Friends is an upsetting and emotional book that had created suspense throughout the story. Other Comments:-It was a fantastic book. The structure of the writing switching back and forth to Vienna and then back to the Spittal (the book is set in Germany) It was a really good story of fun, happiness and deceit. It was sad at times but happy at the same time.

This book is based on a boy called Jeff who watches too much telly. The boys mum decides to unplug the telly, then let's someone borrow it, then throws it out! Jeff is so embarrassed, he has to make up stories about programs all his friends have watched. He is so annoyed with his mum he decides to try and get it back and use it when his mum is out. Book Review Title:-A Series of Unfortunate Events Author:-Lemony Snicket
This is what the Book is about:-
The main characters are Violet, Sunny and Klaus who are orphaned after their parents were killed in a fire. In the first book it had been miserable for the orphans because they had to work all day for Count Olaf. In the third book (Which I am reading at present) it is about them looking for their best owner yet-Aunt Josephine. She says that she is dead in anote she left behind but the orphans are looking for the place she had been when she wrote the note. This is what I thought of the book:- Brilliant
Other Comments:- I like these books because you feel like you really know the children. The books are very descriptive and I really look forward to reading more of them.

Danny boy has got his head shaved for grampa Dans funeral, just to see their faces. Is he grieving? too right. Instead of sitting in the church, he could be away in his room, Skarrs pumping on the speakers. This is what I thought of the book:- Brilliant
Other Comments:-The book is for more advanced readers-teenagers. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It is raw but frightenly real. It made me feel sad at the beginning but it has a happy ending.

This is what the Book is about -
The story begins with a family that are less fortunate than others because they are always skint. This is because the dad just sits and drinks in the pub all day but luckily the mum wins lots of money from a scratchcard. She doesn't really want to tell her husband because he would spend it all at the pub and batter her if she didn't give him money. So one night while her husband is in the pub she and her two kids run away. They get a train to another town far away. They stay at a hotel for a few nights but instead of writing their real names on the hotel record they write down false names so they couldn't be traced. The daughter changes her name to Lola Rose. They get a new house eventually , Lola and her brother start school and Lola's mum gets a boyfriend. To find out more read the story!!

The story is about a boy who really wants to win a trip to daredevil park. He is one of the few people chosen out of millions to enter the worlds greatest ever theme park. He is really excited. The day before entering the theme park he goes to stay in a hotel nearby for the night. He meets new people and one of the boys he meets is a bit of a dare-devil and he wants to enter the park secretly without anyone knowing. From this point in the story you have a choice of what you want to happen and there is a page number next to your choice. When you go to the page your story continues. Book Review Title - Sea Legs Author - Alex Shearer This is what the Book is about - Two twins whose dad works on a luxury cruise liner. When he goes away on a trip the twins are supposed to be sent to the grandparents house but instead they follow their dad and sneak on board. They find an empty cabin and stay there pretending that the little old lady in first class is their grandmother taking them on a trip. But then disaster strikes... during the night the sheep is attacked by modern pirates but the boys come up with a plan to catch the pirates. But in the process they get their dad who helps them with their plan. They finally manage to catch the pirates and hand them over to the Coastguard. After that their dad is sacked from his job and they start up a restaurant and they call it "Sea Legs" This is what I thought of the book - Brilliant ! Book Review Title - Jurassic Park Author - Michael Crichton This is what the Book is about -A man who's created a park for tourists full of dinosaurs which have been genetically engineered from DNA found in mosquito's that were fossilized in amber. The park comes under threat from some lawyers after a series of incidents occur. So a group of specialists are invited to the Island to view the facility and tell the lawyers that the facility is safe. During their stay there is a storm and the dinosaurs break loose and the fun begins. This is what I thought of the book - Brilliant ! Book Review Title - Private Peaceful Author - Michael Morpurgo This is what the Book is about - It all started when the 1st World War began. Country villagers were forced to join up even willing under-aged lads. Private Peaceful (Thomas) was only 14 when he accompanied his elder brother to go to France to fight the Germans. When they had completed their training they were sent to the front line and life became far more of a struggle. Life in the trenches was hell, deep mud, constant bombardments from the German heavy guns and the mad charges they did into no-man's land and German machine gun fire that mowed them down like a hedge-clipper.Then one day after going over the top the remnants of their company found themselves stranded in an old trench. It all started to go wrong This is what I thought of the book - Brilliant ! Other Comments - Very well written and true to life. Just imagine boys no older than S3 going through such terrible conditions. What would you do if faced with the choice of going over the top and leaving your injured brother possibly to die, or staying there and face a court martial and probable death from your own shooting squad?
