The Stirling Story
The Stirling Story continues and is changing with new donations and old favourites. This Autumn, look out for the Balfron Bogie built by the Arnold family from a Blue Peter pattern in 1961 and gifted to the Smith. Older by 20 years and in immaculate condition is the 1941 Marmet Pram bought from the Stirling Pram Factory by Mr and Mrs Philp of Blairlogie, and gifted to the Smith. It arrived at the same time as the Smith's first baby, Mathew O'Donnel, born 28 June this year. The Smith is now collecting stories, memories, photographs and reminiscences of prams for a special event in 2002. Do you have a story to tell? Call Margaret Job or Elma Lindsay. Do you have a photograph which can be copied? Contact Michael McGinnes. All contributors will be acknowledged and an invitation sent to the special event next year.
