Changes to bus services to hospitals
Bus services to Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Stirling Community Hospital will see changes from Monday 25 June.
From 25 June, Hunters Executive Coaches will be running two new Services C34 and C35 to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The services will be funded by Stirling Council and run between the eastern villages of Fallin, Throsk, Cowie and Plean and then on to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Cllr Danny Gibson, Portfolio Holder for Environment, Transport and Public Land, said;
"These routes will provide an important transport link for patients, visitors and staff. From Monday to Friday there will be four new journeys available per day from the Eastern Villages to and from the Hospital. We hope these new services will be welcomed and it is now up to local people to literally 'get on board' and demonstrate that there is a present and future demand for such a service."
The C34 bus service will no longer run to Stirling Community Hospital. First Bus operate two services to Stirling Community Hospital, numbers 53 and 57, from stance 12 at Stirling Bus Station.
