Dragon Comes to Stirling

Stirling's Chinese Community are celebrating Chinese New Year - the Year of the Dragon at the junction of King Street/Port Street on Saturday 11 February 2012 at mid-day.  This will be an added attraction to the farmer's market.  In addition to the dragon a Chinese lion will also be making an appearance!

There are over 100 Chinese businesses located in the Forth Valley region and Stirling's Chinese community play a very active part in the life of the city.

Recently Erin Law, the daughter of Chinese Restauranteurs Susan and George Law - the family are originally from Hong Kong - became the first Chinese Head Girl at St. Modan's High School.
