Dragon dances its way through Stirling

On Saturday 11th February, the Chinese Dragon came to Stirling and wowed passers-by with its elaborate, colourful displays of oriental charm.

The dragon left from the Imperial restaurant on King Street headed down to Port Street then turned left towards Argos, did a U-turn and came back along Port Street and entered in to the Thistles Shopping Centre where they stopped and a performance was delivered outside Boots and Debenhams.

Provost Fergus Wood comments; "There was a good turnout to watch this spectacular show of Chinese heritage. As we have over 100 Chinese businesses in the Forth Valley area, it is a great way to celebrate the economic and cultural development that they bring. Also, Chinese New Year is a global event and we wanted to do our part for the people of Stirling.
