Services for people with a learning disability in the Stirling Council area will be highlighted at an information sharing day on Wednesday 20 June at Stirling Highland Hotel.
The event, part of the nationwide Learning Disability Week, is a chance to find out what’s available in your community, raise awareness about issues important to you and get answers to any questions.
Information will be available on all kinds of topics, from employment, education, transport and housing to money advice, the Learning Disability Forum, and other ways to get involved
There will also be a chance to meet council staff and representatives from other support providers and local organisations.
Everyone is welcome to drop in, and refreshments will be provided.
Learning Disability Week is about individuals, families and everyone else with an interest in learning disability getting involved with the things that are important to them. For more information contact Paul Connelly on 01786 443493 or visit the Adult Learning Disability Team
