Local plan
The Local Plan identifies the sites for development as required by the Structure Plan. It also contains the detailed land use policies for the area. (Please note that the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Authority is now responsible for most planning matters in the Park area).
Adopted Local Plan
The Stirling Council Local Plan was adopted in December 1999
The Local Plan must be in accordance with the approved Structure Plan. Therefore in order to bring the adopted Local Plan up to date with the approved Structure Plan, alterations have been produced to the Jobs & Homes sections of the Local Plan.
