History

The school is situated on the southern edge of Callander and is the only secondary school in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. A major programming of new build and refurbishment was completed in 2008 and pupils and staff are benefiting from excellent facilities for learning and teaching.

Pupils from the 14 primary schools in our "cluster" transfer to McLaren High School and they are joined by a number of pupils whose parents have made a placing request.
