Street Lighting

Street Lights: Please indicate the number of lights out and if it is a total outage. If there are any exposed wires or the light is lying at a dangerous angle please phone the Contact centre on 0845 2777000

Roads

Blocked Gullies/Drains: Please indicate the nature of the blockage
(We aim to respond within 1 working day)
Footway Defects: This includes cracked and uneven pavements, kerbs, slabs, monoblocks, and any potholes on pavement

Ironworks/Railings/Manhole Covers etc: Please give as much detail about the location as the Council will need to determine who is responsible for the repair. It may be Scottish water, BT or other Utilities are responsible

Potholes: The M9 and M80 are maintained by Bear Scotland, please phone them on 0800 138 9903. The A9 is also maintained by Bear Scotland on 0800 587 1107. The A82, A84 and A85 are maintained by Scotland TranServ on 0800 032 2520.

Roadside fences/Road Islands etc.: This includes fencing, overhanging branches, crash barriers, pedestrian guard rails.

Litter/Street Cleaning

Broken Glass Removal: Please tell us where the glass is.

Bus Shelter Cleaning: Please tell us where the shelter is and, if possible, what road it's on.

Damaged Litter Bin: Please tell us where the bin is and how the bin is damaged

Dead Animal Removal: The Council cannot enter private property to remove dead animals, please indicate if the animal is in water

Fly Tipping: The Council is responsible for removing fly tipping from all public highways and public open spaces. Where the waste is hazardous we may have to arrange for the waste to be uplifted by a specialist

Graffiti: Please indicate if the graffiti is racist, bigoted or offensive

Leaves Removal: Leaves can only be removed from public roads and pavements. If the leaves are in a public park please phone the Contact Centre on 0845 2777000
