Please note: No commercial waste can be accepted at Household Waste Recycling Centres at Lower Polmaise, Callander or Balfron.
Transfer Station and Weighbridge
The weighbridge (providing access to the transfer station) is open from 07:30 Monday through Friday all year round. Last entry is 15:45 for a 16:15 closing. Please note, the weighbridge and transfer station are closed daily from 12:30 to 13:00.
Please note commercial customers must set up an account at the weighbridge by sending a letter to Waste Services requesting a weighbridge account and enclosing a copy of a valid Waste Carriers Licence (issued by SEPA/EA) before using this service. Small amounts of commercial waste can be disposed of at Lower Polmaise by purchasing a Tip Permit from Stirling Council's Customer First Office, Port Street, Stirling.
Each permit entitles the holder to dispose of up to half a tonne of waste.
