Planning - Monitoring
Monitoring is an important process that helps us to understand whether our planning policies and proposals in the Development Plan are achieving what they set out to do and it informs therefore any future reviews of the Development Plan. We currently monitor a range of different land uses which includes housing, retailing, industry and other natural and built environment issues. We monitor these issues both in terms of the planning applications that we receive and determine, and in terms of the actual developments that result. This information is contained within the Development Plan Monitoring Report.
