Viewing and commenting on planning applications
Public Access is an online service which allows you to view and comment on any planning application which has been submitted to Stirling Council.
You can:
- track the progress of an application through the system;
- comment on current planning applications;
- view details of all applications (from 1990);
- check on appeals lodged and decisions made;
- view plans and documents (from 2006).
Viewing applications in the office
Current planning applications can also be viewed from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday at Viewforth, Stirling, FK8 2ET. In order to avoid possible waiting time, it is recommended that you 'phone ahead and arrange a viewing time. Telephone (01786) 442515.
Will people see my comments ?
It should be understood that any comments made cannot be treated as confidential, and that any letters of representation including all address details (but not signatures, personal 'phone numbers or personal e-mail addresses) will be treated as public documents, and will be displayed and will be available for anyone to view.
Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park
If you live in an area within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, their online service also allows you to view and comment on an application.
