Stirling’s population increased by 4 per cent between 1998 and 2007, double the 2 per cent average rate of growth for Scotland as a whole and is a vibrant place where people are proud to live and work.

Promoting our leading sectors such as tourism; agriculture and food, removing barriers to employment, providing opportunities for skills development training and support are all part of creating and maintaining Stirling's economy.
