Christmas Lights Switch-On with Santa

You joined Santa and his reindeer as they began the festive celebrations in Stirling City Centre at this FREE family event.

Competition winner, Mylo Baker age 7, travelled with Santa in his sleigh during the parade, walked with Santa through The Thistles to the Snow Circus and was the first child to visit the new Snow Circus

Santa's reindeer were outside the Albert Halls from 2.00pm then set off through the city centre, winding their way through Corn Exchange and down King Street and finishing at Santa's Christmas Home inside The Thistles shopping centre.

This was followed by a radio roadshow at the foot of King Street and Stirling High School Choir along with Macrobets Arts Centre Panto.
Followed by family competitions and music.

The Central FM Radio Roadshow kept everyone entertained with the festive roadshow at the foot of King Street from 2.15pm onwards.

As well as competitions and giveaways there was live musical performances from local singer, songwriter Alix Muir and Little Mix tribute group - Little Fix, more family competitions and the Big Stirling Monopoly give away.

The Stirling Christmas Lights were switched on by 7 year old Mylo Baker from Bannockburn, who won The Thistles Shopping Centre Snow Circus competition, Mark Sharp followed and even more competitions.

The evening celebrations continued with our special guests, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers! finishing at 5:45pm.
