Welfare Reform Challenge Fund

Stirling Council is creating a Welfare Reform Challenge Fund, to support projects which will assist in mitigating the impacts of welfare reform changes. The Fund has £200,000 available up to 31 March 2016, we would envisage funding around 3 projects.

We are looking to fund innovative projects that could potentially inform service redesign and improve outcomes. We would not generally want to meet current funding gaps, replicate local services currently delivered, or fund already well-established ways of working.  We want new approaches and new ideas that will inform Stirling partners’ response to welfare reform.

A ‘Meet the Funders’ event will be held on 5th August, at the Mayfield Centre, Stirling between 9.45 and 12pm where those who have an interest in the fund can attend to get more information and discuss their proposals.

Please register your interest in attending this event with Matthew Sweeney (phone 01786 233478 or email Mathew Sweeney)
