Support to communities
Community development support to communities and community organisations across the Stirling Council area is provided by the Community Engagement Team. The Team also provide development within 10 community centres and provide support to 40 community managed halls and centres, including supporting groups who may wish to look at transferring a building into community ownership. A specialist Funding Officer also manages a range of grants on behalf of Stirling Council: Hall Revenues, Community Grants, Community Pride and Credit Union. The Team supports local community planning and all 6 area community planning forums.
SVE provide support for voluntary organisations, social enterprises and volunteers in a range of areas including funding advice, organisational structure, volunteer management, charity law compliance and representation on Community Planning Partnerships

The Community Partnership supports organisations and communities within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, especially in training, networking and information gathering and sharing. The Partnership also are running a number of Park-wide projects such as the National Park Apprenticeship Scheme for small businesses in construction and Community Futures Goes Green for a group of communities tackling energy efficiency in homes and community buildings.
