The Stirling area is in the heart of Scotland, covering an area of over 2,100 square kilometres, and is home to approximately 90,000 people.
Stirling Council has 22 elected members across 7 multi-member wards. Currently the Council is made up of 9 SNP councillors, 8 Labour councillors, 4 Conservative councillors and 1 Scottish Green councillor. The administration is a Labour-Conservative partnership, with Labour's Johanna Boyd
as Council Leader.
The partnership administration has identified 18 key priorities.
The party leaders are Corrie McChord, Labour; Alistair Berrill, Conservative; Scott Farmer, SNP and Mark Ruskell, Green.
