Elections and voting

Voting gives you a voice in the decisions affecting your life, and the life of your community.

Stirling Council is responsible for the running of elections in:

  • the local area – Scottish Local Government
  • Scottish Parliament,
  • WestminsterParliament and European
  • as well as referenda. 

You must be registered on the Electoral Register to be able to vote.
