Policy Statement

The initial consultation period for the District of Stirling Licensing Policy Statement ended on 1 May 2016 and the Board would like to thank those who responded.

The responses have been collated and the Board would now like to seek your views on the updated draft policy which incorporates some changes in light of the comments received.

The survey for the revised draft policy can be viewed here

After viewing the policy document it would be appreciated if you could give any comments you wish to make using the survey.

4 consultees expressed the view that there was some form of overprovision in the Stirling area, 3 of these specify Stirling City Centre and 1 felt that there was overprovision within Fintry.  The Board would particularly welcome views on the extent to which if at all, consultees, consider there may be  overprovision in the Stirling area.

Public meetings have been organised in order to discuss the proposed changes to the policy.  These meetings will take place on:

Tuesday 30 August2016 at 2pm at The Council Chambers, Old Viewforth, Stirling, FK8 2ET

Wednesday 21September 2016 at 2pm at The Waverley Hotel, Callander, 88/94 Main Street, FK178BD

We would appreciate if you could make any comments on the updated draft policy no later than 30 September 2016
