Stirling Council provides hundreds of services to people living in the area, from keeping the pavements clean and managing parking, to running schools and providing homes for council tenants. The Council's aim is to provide the best service possible to Stirling residents.
There are 22 elected members of Stirling Council. The Council is led by a partnership Labour/Conservative administration. Council Leader is Councillor Johanna Boyd and the Provost is Mike Robbins.
Chief Executive, Stewart Carruth advises the Council, leads the Council Management Team and liaises with the Scottish Government, regulatory bodies and partner public bodies.
Stirling Council works closely with Police Scotland, Central Scotland Fire and Rescue, NHS Forth Valley and other partners.
