Elections - Polling places
The Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 required Stirling Council to carry out a review of the *Polling Districts and **Polling Places used for elections.
Electors within the Stirling Constituency (Stirling Council area) were invited to make comments in relation to the boundaries of polling districts, the location and suitability of polling places and polling stations within them. An on-line survey was set up with representations required by Friday 29 November 2013. Polling arrangements were approved by Stirling Council at its meeting on 12 December 2013.
* A Polling District is the area created by the division of a Ward into smaller parts, so that electors can be allocated to a building where they can vote.
** A Polling Place is the building within which voting is carried out.
