Children and Young People Improvement Collaborative
What is the Children and Young People Improvement Collaborative?
The Children and Young People Improvement Collaborative (CYPIC) is a national approach to supporting services for children and young people to be as good as they can be. We want to make a positive difference to children and their families from birth to 18 years.
We and our community partners are committed to making services better so that all children get the best start in life. We aim to build on strengths services for children and their families already have and tackle inequality so that every child gets the chance to thrive, learn and succeed.
How can services improve?
CYPIC asks services such as schools and nurseries, to use evidence about what works to test out new ideas or new ways of working to make things better for children and their families.
How does it work?
- Schools and nurseries carefully test out their ideas.
- They measure what difference the new idea makes.
- If it works really well they will make it part of what they do every day.
- They can also share their learning with other schools and nurseries.
