Killearn Primary is a co-educational, non-denominational school which serves the village of Killearn and the surrounding area. Our modern and well equipped building was completed in August 2002 and offers excellent learning and teaching facilities.
The building provides 9 bright and well equipped modern classrooms. We have a dedicated ICT suite, gym hall and multi purpose room which is used by all classes and visiting specialist teachers.
Our extensive school grounds include an outdoor classroom, multi court sports area, playground games, low level play equipment, a quiet area with seats and tables and garden areas.
Each school has it own geographic area called a catchment area. Normally, your child will attend your local catchment school. If you wish your child to attend a school other than the catchment school you are required to make a placing request. View our catchment area.
Education Scotland has responsibility for evaluating the quality of pre-school education, all schools, teacher education, community learning and development, further education and local authorities. They also publish reports about services for children and evaluate child protection services. View our latest inspection report.
