Children's community partnerships

Children's Community Partnerships (CCPs) are based on seven school clusters: Balfron, Bannockburn, Dunblane, McLaren, Stirling, St Modan's, Wallace.

CCPs comprise headteachers; health professionals; community services personnel; early years staff; children and families staff, police and appropriate other local organisation representatives.

CCPs aim to:

  • oversee local implementation of the strategic priorities in 'For Stirling's Children', the integrated plan for Children's Services
  • promote partnership working across sectors and agencies
  • promote co-ordinated interagency working
  • promote equality and achievement
  • promote inclusion and provision for the most vulnerable
  • promote the highest standards of a healthy lifestyle
  • promote responsible citizenship
  • promote successful learning
  • promote consultation with children and young people
  • promote planned transition programmes for children and young people at various interfaces
