The Additional Support Needs (ASN) Outreach Service ensures early intervention and support for children and young people aged 0-18 with additional support needs in early  years establishments, primary schools and secondary schools. The service, led by ASN Co-ordinators, assisted by an support officer, consists of teachers, senior early childhood educators and support for learning assistants in teams:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (0-18)

• Early Years (partnership and stand-alone early years establishments)

• Complex Needs (Early Years), Complex Needs (other)

• English as an Additional Language (EAL) (0-18)

• Gypsy/Traveller (0-18)

• Information and Communications Technology (ICT) (0-18)

• Hospital/Home (0-18)

• Sensory Impairment - Hearing (HI) (0-18)

• Sensory Impairment - Vision (VI) (0-18)

• Support for Learning - PT Support

The ASN Outreach Service works collaboratively with the Social, Emotional and Behaviour Needs Support Service (SEBN).

The ASN Outreach Service accepts support requests from educational establishments through the Staged Intervention process and from health services also supporting children and young people with additional support needs.
