We want your views
There are a number of ways that tenants can participate and these can be seen in our tenants participation strategy.
We have various ways that you can take part, so as to take into account of your individual knowledge, skills and availability.
It is key that tenants participate so we can improve the services that we provide whilst ensuring value for money.
Here are some examples
- You can become a Tenant Inspector. We will provide you with training so you can review specific parts of the Housing Service in order to identify any gaps in the service. so far our tenant inspectors have completed four reports. These are Homeless Services, Estate Management , Responsive Repairs and Cyclical Repairs.
- You may join the tenants editorial panel for the Open Door, here you have the opportunity to suggest, write and edit articles for the tenants Open Door magazine. We see this as a good communication tool for all tenants.
- You many want to become a tenants voice, here you can be the voice for your area and liase regularly with the Tenant Participation Officer on discussing local housing issues
We have some Registered Tenants Organistation, there may be one in you area, if not please contact our Tenants Participation Officer for more information.
