Stirling - Alloa - Kincardine Railway Noise Information

In September 2013 the Environment and Housing Committee noted the interim findings of the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine Railway Noise and Vibration Working Group. The Committee decided to authorise noise and vibration surveys at affected properties in the vicinity of the railway, to provide an independent assessment of the extent of noise and vibration nuisance caused by the operation of the railway line.

The Noise and Vibration Assessment Report, Stirling Speed Surveys Report and Train Speed Surveys Summary Report were subsequently produced as a result of the Committee decision.

These reports were considered at the 20 November 2014 Environment and Housing Committee.
