House of Lords

The House of Lords is located in the Palace of Westminster.  The House of Lords is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. 

Prior to 2009, the House of Lords served a judicial role as the Court of last resort for most instances of UK Law.  Post 2009, the role of the Court of last resort is now undertaken by the UK Supreme Court.
