Conservation

Stirling Council is responsible for many aspects of conservation, ranging from preserving buildings and trees in the area, to caring for the countryside and local environment.

We promote wildlife and habitat management through our Rangers service, deal with development and building proposals relating to conservation areas and listed buildings through our planning department, work closely with other organisations such as Historic Scotland, and much more.
