Biodiversity Duty Report

Under the Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004, all public bodies are required to further the conservation of biodiversity when carrying out their responsibilities. Following an amendment in the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011, public bodies are also required to publish a publicly available report, every 3 years, on the actions they have taken to meet this biodiversity duty.

Stirling Council's Biodiversity Duty Report 2017 summarises activities carried out to help meet our Biodiversity Duty over the period 2015-2017. This is Stirling Council's second Biodiversity Duty report.

The first report Stirling Council’s Biodiversity Duty Report 2014 was submitted in December 2014 and summarises activities carried out to help meet our Biodiversity Duty over the period 2011-2014.
