Air quality
We measure nitrogen dioxide levels throughout the Stirling Council area using a network of 10 passive diffusion tube sites and an automatic analyser. We also measure particulate levels using a TEOM analyser. This builds up a picture of air quality throughout our area and allows us to predict future air quality trends.
Air Pollution Alert Service
If you are affected by episodes of air pollution, Know & Respond (Scotland) is a free service which alerts you when poor air quality is forecast for the day ahead.
