Recycling - general information
There are a number of ways you can recycle your waste:
Kerbside recycling schemes:
We provide a weekly household recycling collection service for paper, glass, cans, textiles and plastic bottles.
In addition to this, most areas also receive a weekly collection of food waste, small electrical appliances, household batteries and food and drink cartons (e.g. Tetra Pak milk and fruit juice cartons).
A leaflet called Presenting the Ideal Recycling Box can be downloaded which outlines all the materials which can be recycled using the blue box. Or you can visit our Household Waste - Recycling pages for additional information.

Recycling Centres & Points:
Stirling Council currently operates 3 Household Waste Recycling Centres and 39 bring sites for all types of recyclable household waste throughout the Council area.
In addition to this, there are 16 City Centre recycling points for residents' use. For more information on the locations of these points and the materials accepted please see our City Centre Collections pages.
