Community transport
Community transport can improve the quality of life for our citizens, by enabling them to engage and interact within their community and have a fuller social experience. There are a variety of schemes which can help people to travel around their local community and beyond.
Bus passes
For older or disabled members of our community, bus passes can provide a means of accessing free bus journeys around Scotland.
Demand Responsive Transport
For residents who stay in rural locations which do not have commercial or conventional bus services operating, our Demand Responsive Transport service can be pre-booked to connect you with conventional bus services.
Access to transport for disabled people
We promote personal independence by offering free or concessionary travel for people with a disability on a range of community transport options. We also provide information about the motability scheme and disabled car parking facilities for blue badge holders
Public transport information
To plan your journey on public transport, you may require timetable information, advice about service changes or disruption, location of bus stops and shelters and how to get bus tickets.
