Food safety - regulations
The sale of food is governed by the Food Safety Act, 1990 and associated regulations. The Food Standards Agency has produced guidance for food businesses.
Registering a food business
If you are planning to operate a new food business within our area, you must register your premises with us at least 28 days before opening your premises. We can provide advice to help you start your food business.
