Drugs - advice and support
Substance misuse can often have a devastating impact on an individual’s physical and mental health, their financial and social circumstances and their family and friends as well as the wider community as a whole. Anyone worried about substance misuse can also speak to their GP who will be able to refer onto more intensive support services.
Drug support
As a general rule, unless a drug is prescribed by a doctor or can be bought legally in a chemist, then it is illegal. There are exceptions to this rule and some substances can be obtained legally but are abused and cause problems for the individual involved.
This service is for anyone over the age of 16 with an alcohol and/or drug problem
