Stirling is punching well above its weight when it comes to the arts.

The Tolbooth is the toast of Scotland’s traditional and world music scene. An award-winning £6m conversion transformed this historic and characterful building into a state-of-the-art performance space, dance studio and recording studio.

Bob Dylan, REM and Ocean Colour Scene have all played Stirling Castle Esplanade - location for Hogmanay celebrations.

  • The MacRoberts Art Centre - The recently revamped Macrobert arts centre based in Stirling University’s campus offers a cinema and theatre programme and a host of activities designed for children and families.
