Land Services
We provide a range of services aimed at up-keeping the horticultural and public amenity areas within the Stirling Council boundary to promote tourism, public safety and the general pleasant appearance of geographic locations within the City and its countryside
Land Maintenance responsible for all Council open spaces, parks, cemeteries, school grounds and office properties, garden maintenance service for elderly and disabled people
Street Cleaning Environmental Protection Act (1990) responsible for the general upkeep of streets including removing rubbish, litter, needles, dog fouling amongst others, in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act.
Cemeteries manages cemetery and bereavement services,·keeps memorials in cemeteries stable.
Abandoned Vehicles - under the terms of the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978 the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986 identification and removal of abandoned cars on public land within the council boundary.
Play Maintenance - responsible for the maintenance and development of public play areas.
