SEPA has issued an updated Flood Alert for Central

This alert is for coastal and river flooding.

There is a risk of significant coastal flooding on Tuesday due to higher than usual tides. This will increase the risk of flooding to low lying land and roads and could affect exposed coastal properties. The periods of greatest risk are around the high tide which occurs at Grangemouth around 15:00 on Tuesday.

River flooding will continue to affect Callander throughout Sunday and into Monday.

Please note that 2 pallets of sand bags have been placed outside the gates of the Callander and Springkerse roads depots.
