children

We are pleased to support Holiday Fun Clubs offering 2-hour sessions with activities and lunch provided for children in P1 to P7, which will run during the week Monday 17th February to Friday 21st February 2020.

There are free spaces at all clubs, however, some clubs may have limited spaces. Please contact providers directly for information on how to sign up; they are looking forward to hearing from you.

*Please note that free spaces can only be accessed by children who are residents of the Stirling Council area.

Parents/Carers, please remember to confirm with Fun Club providers whether or not there are specific requirements for the planned activity, e.g. outdoor activities may be weather dependent; whether or not there is a requirement for a parent or carer to stay for the duration of the session or if children can be dropped off.

Parents or other adults making bookings for children are respectfully asked only to book places that the children will be able to attend and to cancel as early as possible if attendance is not possible.  This will prevent clubs from running with empty spaces and will enable providers to offer places to those on waiting lists.

Help us with Holiday Fun Clubs in the Stirling Council area

In June 2019 Stirling Council set up a Flexible Framework of providers to support free Holiday Fun Clubs for Primary School aged children at risk of food insecurity during the school holidays.  The clubs, delivered by community-based charities and voluntary organisations, provided fun activities and nutritious meals to a number of children during the summer holidays 2019.   We would like to extend the framework to new providers to allow the provision to be extended more widely across the Council area and across other school holidays in 2019/20.

Do you deliver or are you interested in delivering holiday clubs? - Join our Framework Now!

Please note your interest and request an Application Pack.

You can also tell us if you can contribute in other ways, such as providing room hire, supporting activities, assisting with catering etc. Get in touch to tell us what you can do to support clubs in your area. Your details will be shared with Framework Providers working on this project and those partners who have expressed an interest so that organisations can work together to deliver clubs.
